I think this is a better use of an old rake than raking leaves....
So I am thinking of making a couple of these to put in my daughters closet to hold her neclaces and belts.
Mine will be white though. = D

My cushions...
People who know me know I absolutely love to sew. I love to make new items out old cast offs. These are two pillows I made. Pillows are so easy and a home can never have too many pillows. I have noticed husbands don't always seem to agree with that. = ( They started off as a vintage sheet. I faded it a little to give them a more loved look. I even made the inserts from an old down pillow that was headed for the trash. You just have to use a good ticking for this and it is available at most fabric stores. With inserts I usually sew the outer edge several times with a very small stitch to keep the little feather bits from finding their way out.
I have never been a person who could just make something and not care about the details of it so I had to add a little piping between the pillow and the ruffle. On these I just did a zipper closure as they will get a lot of use however I also love doing buttons and bows to close cushions.
Oh ya, daisy's are our favorite flower here so that must be what drew me to this sheet to make pillows. Julia

Look what we found...
He wasn't on our list of things to find but we just love him! Candice named him Beni and he is the newest addition to our family.

Rosette's little cottage bathroom
This is the bathroom of one of my sweetest customers, Rosette. She has been coming to the store since we first opened and it has been wonderful to see her home progress. I just thought I would share some pictures she sent me. Enjoy!
